Nova Wealth Management Group, a Registered Investment Advisor, was founded in Atlanta in 1999 by the partners of CPA firm, Bromberg & Cohen, P.C.
Sam Bromberg and Jeff Cohen founded Nova to provide a disciplined, academically-based investment experience tailored to address each client’s distinct willingness, ability and need to accept market risk. Offering an advisor relationship built on personal trust and integrity, Nova serves as a Registered Investment Advisor to retirement-minded individuals, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, investment partnerships, and retirement plans.
As your wealth management advisor, Nova Wealth Management Group joins you in the duty of fulfilling your mission – both now and in the future. We believe that strategic vision can be achieved when there is a commitment to a customized and disciplined long-term plan. We begin our relationship with our consultative process resulting in establishing and reviewing a written investment policy statement. We will assess your current financial situation and help you gain consensus on goals and guidelines for the ongoing management and protection of your investment assets.
We have adopted the following principles, which guide our firm and how we provide advice and services to our clients.
We provide advice and recommendations that are only in our client’s best interest. We do this because it is proper, ethical and right. All of the following principles are consistent with this objective and our way of conducting business.
We follow a fiduciary duty standard of care, which is the highest legal duty of care one party can have to another. As a Registered Investment Advisor, we have a legal responsibility to act in your best interest. This is a much higher standard than the less-stringent “suitability standard” which most major brokerage firms are subject to.
We provide a high level of personal attention. We make a point of getting to know each client and learning what is most important. Developing personalized insight is key to providing appropriate advice and service.
We provide services and develop wealth strategies through our consultative holistic approach. We develop plans that are integrated into each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
Each client benefits from a team of professionals. Using in-house expertise or carefully selected alliances as needed, we offer a range of resources to make sound financial recommendations and decisions.
We are client-centric, which means we focus on delivering sound advice and targeted solutions, not on selling financial products. The only incentive we have in offering particular solutions is whether the client’s best interest will be served.
We provide fee-only wealth management. Our fees are based on a percentage of your assets that we manage. This approach best aligns our interests with yours. We do not charge commissions for any investments managed in our advisory accounts. Our incentive is to recommend what’s best under the circumstances.
Fees and costs are fully disclosed and clearly explained. We give answers in plain English, with whatever level of detail is needed.
We strive for our advice to be straightforward and understandable. We base it upon the latest, academic evidence, not crystal balls. We rely on data and evidence and adhere to an investment philosophy built on logic and science.
We invest our personal and firm assets based on the same set of investment principles and using the same investment strategy that we recommend.
